	Instro’s ROSS provides a complete ‘off the shelf’ wireless and / or cabled solution for users who require a highly portable rapidly deployed and self-contained remote surveillance capability. Truly man portable, the ROSS is ideal for surveillance and security applications where the direct use of traditionally hand held sensors is impractical or dangerous to the user and is capable of exchanging data wirelessly at distances of up to 1000 meters or via cable in increments of 25 meters. Instro man portable remote systems share common interchangeable elements supplied with a specific padded Cordura field deployment bag where appropriate. The remote observation support systems are ideally suited for homeland security such as perimeter or border surveillance and security tasks and are packaged in to two hard transit cases, conveniently grouped to ensure trouble free transportation and optimise ease of deployment.
